Happy New Year from Make Money Work Online
Wishing every one of you a Happy New Year! I hope you continue to follow Make Money Work Online as I keep bringing you the best tips, advice and ways to make money online. Thanks to all my loyal readers who keep coming back for more. I look forward to the new year and have even higher money making goals set.
Best Non-GPT Survey Sites
One of the ways to make money online I like the most is to make money from taking surveys. I have three favorite survey sites other than Cashcrate.com, which is a GPT (get-paid-to) site. All of these three survey sites were free to join, and all of them I have received payment from in the form of a check. These sites are all legitimate and recommended by me. I will go over these sites in more detail below.

Mysurvey.com took a while for me to reach the payout which is $10, but once I did I prompty received payment within the time frame they said I would. Their site is very user friendly and they have contests for big cash prizes often as well. With Mysurvey you earn points for each survey you take and you can redeem your points for cash and/or prizes.
With American Consumer Opinion I have received several payments from them as well. They do not send me surveys too often though. But for the surveys I have taken from them, they offered pretty decent payments for the time and effort I put into taking the surveys.
Pinecone Research is a great survey company. I receive several of their surveys in my email a month. They have very prompt payment as well. With them you can opt to receive your payment via check or paypal. I like the paypal option so I can transfer the money I earn from the surveys right into my bank account. The only thing about Pinecone Research is that you have to sign up for them from a banner advertisement and they are not always looking for new members.

What Happened To Swatcash?
For any of you who make money online from GPT (get-paid-to) sites you have probably heard of Swatcash. They had been a major player in the GPT arena for a while up until now. Swatcash.com has died and is no more which comes as a shock to many, including me. Swatcash had been my 2nd favorite GPT site after Cashcrate.com.
Swatcash filed for bankruptcy and rumor has it this all came about because of poor planning with money on their part. They tried to expand their company too quickly and put a lot of money out there for various contests they held and for big payouts they had on their site, and they did not have enough money saved to continue on in their business. Also several companies were late on paying them as well.
For those of you who loved Swatcash for making money online this may come as sad news. I am still glad Cashcrate.com is going strong and I highly recommend them for those of you who want to make money online from free paid surveys.

Cashcrate Payments
For those of you who are beginning to make money online by taking free paid surveys with Cashcrate, you may wondering when your Cashcrate payment comes. First of all Cashcrate pays by check in the mail. Once you reach the minimum payout in your earnings which is $20 you are eligible to receive payment. Cashcrate mails out the checks around the 20th of the following month from when you reached the payout. So if you earn $20 or more in December, they will mail out your check around the 20th of January. After your check gets mailed out give it up to a week to arrive. It will be there. I have been a member of Cashcrate.com since last April and I have consistently received payment each month since I have joined.
Make Money from Sweepstakes
Another possible way to make money online is enter sweepstakes and contests. There are many sweepstakes and contests out there that offer cash prizes. Of course you have to be chosen as the winner to get any money, but the more contests and sweepstakes you enter, the greater your chances are to eventually win something. In the past few months I have been continuing my experimentation in seeking different ways to make money online and have been entering some contests and sweepstakes I have found through various searches on the internet. There are some websites that are fully devoted to listing contests and sweepstakes. I have already won a few prepaid Visa cards since I have started entering, which is surprising and nice. Every little bit helps.
